3 Levels of Writing Instruction & Tutoring

Available Online Utilizing Zoom or In-Person

Writing instruction will be offered as levels instead of grades. Parents will be able to place their child in the description that best suits their child. Because your child's sessions will be catered, there will be an individual flow to building your child's foundation and growing from there.

All students will learn how to utilize a variety of graphic organizers to structure their writing. We will meet once a week and utilize a university-style schedule. My goal is to build on the writing week-to-week and not bog them down with useless activities.

Review of paragraph structure and graphic organizers
Exposure to a variety of writing styles
Will move into 3 paragraph-structured writing with the goal of becoming more comfortable with this length.

Review of the paragraph, 3-paragraph writing, and graphic organizers
Exposure to a variety of writing styles
Will move into 5 paragraph-structured writing with the goal of becoming more comfortable with this length.

COST: $25 a session, once a week, access to video-recorded sessions & Elizabeth if questions arise while working on an assignment. Sessions last 25 - 45 minutes depending on the content, questions, etc. Because our time is one-on-one, a lot is covered in our time together.

WHEN: This is set up with each family as we talk and coordinate schedules.

Tutoring:

During this time I can help your child brainstorm and organize their writing assignment from another teacher/class
Available for all ages
Available for all educational settings

COST: $25 for 30 minutes, $45 for an hour. Proofreading is available for an assignment we have worked on, for no extra charge.

WHEN: This is set up with each family and available as needed.
